About Us

Our founder, Tyler Rhoderick, became an Enrolled Agent eligible to practice before the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) on November 8, 2021. With this credential, in addition to preparing tax returns, he can assist clients with responding to notices they receive from the IRS, as well as represent clients at various IRS hearings. To learn more about what is considered practice before the IRS, click here. Tyler can also assist individuals and businesses with Tax Planning. Tax Planning is when a person or business' financial situation is analyzed to ensure they pay the lowest amount of taxes legally possible. Before becoming an Enrolled Agent, Tyler was a Site Coordinator for the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Program for five years, where he assisted with preparing simple tax returns for low income individuals and families. Tyler founded Affordable Tax Services to bring Affordable Tax Services to the community. In addition to being an Enrolled Agent, Tyler also has a Bookkeeping certificate from the National Association of Certified Public Bookkeepers. With this, he is able to provide Bookkeeping services to sole proprietors as well as businesses. Tyler is also a notary public. In addition, to our tax services, we also offer notary services. Tyler also has a masters degree in accounting.
